Murp in motion

Animated scene (AI-animated). The figure is real, the movement is animated.

What is said in the video

This is Murp. Has seen a lot. Says nothing about it. From 3 to 10 centimetres. Small enough for the shelf. Big enough for drama. From €9.99. Come say hi. We don't bite. Mostly.

Character

Murp is a Wompfel whose gaze leaves questions open. He looks as though he has sat on a shelf for a very long time, observing things nobody had better mention.

He is striking, singular and exactly right for collectors who don't want smooth characters. Murp has presence. Even though he barely moves.

What Murp looks like

Murp is ochre olive and shaped like a plump egg. His skin is covered in a light-green crackle pattern and small pink dots. Two broad bat ears with pink insides jut out at the sides, and two small pink horns sit on top. His brown glass eyes rest in thick pink lids, above a pink pig snout, a wide grin with two little fangs and several chin folds. Murp crouches like a frog on sturdy, bent legs and props himself up on long, thin arms.

Who Murp makes the perfect gift for

Murp is the gift for secret keepers and anyone you can confide in. For the best friend who never passes anything on, for crime-novel readers, for collectors of things with a past and for anyone with a dusty corner on the antiques shelf. Murp likes long looks and things that have been through something. Bright light and unnecessary questions he does not like. As a Pocket Wompfel with the Wompfel ID MW-2026-001, he is a figurine with a mind of his own for collectors who don't want smooth characters. For a birthday, as thanks for keeping quiet or just because – Murp won't say why.

Where Murp feels at home

Murp likes his spot best in a quiet, slightly shady corner: on a shelf next to old books, on the chest of drawers by the pocket watch or in the display cabinet with your finds. For small niches, 4 to 6 cm work well; on a shelf, 8 to 10 cm. A spot under bright light is not for him.
