Womp sits there like someone thinking about something bigger and not planning to tell anyone. He came after Mork, but looks as if he had been waiting for him.
Like every other Wompfel, Womp is made after you order him. Starting with him means starting with the calmest one.
What Womp looks like
Womp is lavender and shaped like a large egg. Rust-pink patches with pale, cracked edges are scattered across his finely speckled surface, as if an old layer of paint were peeling away. On top, two pointed ears with pink insides. Below them: two large glass eyes with amber irises and pink lids, a pink pig snout and a full, slightly pursed mouth. He has no neck. His thin, pale-pink arms hang loosely, and his short feet sit right under his body – Womp crouches upright and doesn't move.

Womp is the gift for people who know how to wait – and for everyone whose job is to make others wait. In a doctor's practice, at the physio, at a law firm's reception or in a hair salon, he sits in the waiting area and keeps the minutes company. He likes long silences, heavy books and beginnings; he doesn't like hurry, copies or noise.
