Yarp in motion

Animated scene (AI-animated). The figure is real, the movement is animated.

What is said in the video

This is Yarp. Friendly enough to start with. Strange enough to be a Wompfel. From 3 to 10 centimetres. Small enough for the shelf. Big enough for drama. From €9.99. Come say hi. We don't bite. Mostly.

Character

Yarp is one of the most approachable Wompfel in the first launch. He seems friendly, calm and not too complicated. Which is exactly why he makes a good first Wompfel.

He sums up the Wompfel idea: hand-finished, singular, likeable and a little peculiar.

What Yarp looks like

Yarp is a light turquoise with cream-white rings and small golden flecks scattered across his body like chipped gold leaf. His large, thin ears are pink inside and so delicate they almost let the light through. Below them, two grey-green glass eyes look out from under pink lids, with a round pig snout and a closed, contented smile in between. His pear-shaped body ends in a round belly with a belly button. Yarp sits comfortably, legs stretched out in front, his slim arms propped at his sides.

Who Yarp makes the perfect gift for

Yarp is the figurine for beginnings. For anyone who has been eyeing a small collection for ages and just needs a reason, and for people you want to win over to Wompfel without starting with the strangest one. Yarp comes across as friendly, calm and not too complicated – just right as number one on the shelf. He likes simple spots, friendly faces and things that don't beep; too much drama and complicated names aren't his thing. His ability: he can become the first Wompfel of a collection. What comes next is up to you – or to whoever unwraps him.

Where Yarp feels at home

Yarp's place is right at the front: on the empty shelf that will soon hold a collection, on the windowsill or on the sideboard in the hallway. At 6 or 7 cm he makes a good start, and smaller Wompfel at 3 to 5 cm can join later. He doesn't like dark corners – bright and simple suits him better.
