2.General

We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection provisions (GDPR, German Federal Data Protection Act) and this privacy policy. “Personal data” means all data by which you can be personally identified.

Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.

3.Hosting & server log files

This website is hosted by an external service provider. The data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers. This serves to fulfil our contractual and pre-contractual obligations and is in the interest of secure, fast and reliable provision (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with the host.

The hosting provider isCGHostGroup – Philipp Skorpil, Biberkopfstr. 9, 86163 Augsburg, Germany. The underlying data centre and server infrastructure is provided byHetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, as a sub-processor.

Server log files

The provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free and secure operation of the website).

4.SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol. When encryption is active, the data you send us cannot be read by third parties.

You can delete this data at any time via your browser settings.

We embed all fonts usedlocallyfrom our own server. This involvesnoconnection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) and therefore no transmission of your IP address to third parties.

We use the service provider Stripe for payment processing. The provider for customers in the European Economic Area isStripe Payments Europe, Ltd.(Ireland); the group also includesStripe, Inc. (USA).

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (secure payment processing). During a normal visit to our website (without a payment process) no data is transmitted to Stripe.

In the course of payment processing there may be atransfer of data to the USA. Stripe relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU standard contractual clauses for this. Details of data processing by Stripe can be found in Stripe's privacy policy atstripe.com/de/privacy.
