Art toys with character
Art toys are figures that are not made for playing but for looking at, collecting and displaying. That is exactly what Wompfel are: little creatures with a name, a profile and a story of their own, designed in Munich, full-colour 3D printed in Germany and finished by hand. You see every figure before you buy and choose it yourself, in ten sizes from €9.99.
What is an art toy?
The term comes from the designer toy scene: artists create figures with their own signature style that belong on a shelf rather than in a toy box. They are often creatures and fantasy beings with big heads and lots of expression. Wompfel follow this tradition, with one difference: behind every figure there is a character with likes, quirks and a file you can read on its page.
Designer figures without blind boxes or artificial scarcity
Many art toys only come in blind boxes or limited editions that sell out within minutes. Wompfel work the other way round. Every character is made only after you order and stays available permanently. No swapping, no relying on luck and no overpriced resale. More on how this differs from a blind box
Monsters, creatures and little beings
The collection is made up of friendly monsters and fantasy beings in bold colours. Mork is a calm, blue creature with cat ears, Drok has a lot of presence, Rixa and Snorp are strange in their own way. The ranks Alpha, Titan, Prime and Pocket describe their role in the Wompfel world, not their rarity.
How a Wompfel is made
Every figure is full-colour 3D printed, layer by layer, with the colours right in the material. It is then cleaned, finished and sealed by hand and shipped well padded, with its name, Wompfel ID and certificate.
